great food, good service and reasonable ambience for a busy place. i once was given bad waffle complained and work process was changed to ensure waffle delivered to customer is excellent.

It's been awhile since I've been back to nutmeg, and I forgot how good it was! They do all day breakfast/brunch, which just happens to be my favorite meal. They also have some BOM southern food like chicken and waffles and BBQ pulled chicken sandwich. I went for the chicken sandwich today. It was messy, but delicious and topped with Cole slaw, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce that's not overwhelmingly sweet. I also got a lime Italian soda, which is supposed to consist of soda water and lime syrup. Instead they just threw some limes into soda water and called it lime soda--not the same thing! And the limes must have been old or something, cause it was not good. Nutmeg is especially well known for their desserts, evident by the huge number of cakes and pastries on display. We tried the pecan pie tart--again not overwhelmingly sweet.

Since I am always looking for new breakfast, brunch and lunch places in Bangsar, i finally checked this place out the other day. I have to say the service was really good, staff were friendly and attentive, the waiter spilled my coffee so went back and made me a new one - I appreciate that level of service. I had the fritata, spanish style which was pretty decent, although a little under seasoned but it was accompanied with a fresh salad and some toast so it is a decent sized meal at only 18RM I will definietly return to check out some of the other items on the menu

Nutmeg definitely has successfully pleasing people with their service and delicious food. Their space is really comfortable, with dim light, wooden table, mini flower, all of these are just making you very comfortable and feels like staying here longer. They also have a decent wi-fi so for you and your gadgets, though I barely see people here working because I think their overall ambience is more like for you to just have a good chat with whoever you are going with. Nutmeg also one of the place that sells a gluten free cake. It is really hard to find specific request cake in Bangsar, and nutmeg is one of really few places to go to. Other than cake, they have pretty decent dishes as well like grilled chicken with sweet potato creamed spinach. Even the dishes sounds appetising already. Their food is definitely the type of food that you would like to try cook at home. So definitely will recommend this place to people! p.s: their place is most likely crowded, so bear in mind sometimes it could be a little bit noisy and you have to come on right time to get good seat. :)

Nutmeg is definitely one of the trendier brunch cafes in Bangsar to check out, amongst a sea of other trendy brunch cafes! What makes Nutmeg stands out is the fact that is a small family-run business in Bangsar Village 2, with a small but cosy space that is always packed with people especially on the weekends. Curious as to why it was always so busy, I decided to pop by one late morning to give it a try. I ordered the Croissant Sandwich which is basically raw salmon and creamy scrambled eggs over a tasty buttery croissant, sprinkled with ground black pepper and parsley and a side of sautéed spinach. A simple yet delicious fare that surely satisfies the tummy and palette! The spinach frittata is also another must-try - the perfect blend of sun dried tomatoes, eggs and blue cheese. To end my brunch I decided to try one of the desserts, the warm chocolate pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was a marvelous creation and the best end to a great meal.Their coffee was standard - I had a regular latte- but their service was really good and prompt. I will definitely be back again in the near future and this time I will bring all my friends!

I've been staying around Bangsar area of quite sometimes, but this is my first time visit to Nutmeg. I heard that it has been opening for almost two years but never know its existence. Not sure whether I was too hungry this morning, when I first walked into the cafe, I felt great, really great by the smell of the coffee and food. People were chit-chating while having their breakfast. I really love the ambience of Nutmeg. In fact, it is hard to find a cafe in a mall actually. I ordered myself a French toast, topped with Banana, almonds and butterscotch (recommended by the waiter), while my sister ordered the toast with salmon on the top (can't remember the exact name). The French toast was expected to be served in 10-15 minutes due to the preparation time. I tried the Salmon toast of my sister, the toast was just so so ( I think you can cook better at home), salmon and the side dish (salads) were quite good. My sister even asked what is the dressing they used for salad. After a while, my French Toast was served. It was quite a big portion and I can't finish the whole thing by my own. It actually tasted quite good. But after i finished half of them and i came to realise that it was actually quite sweet. LOL! But overall is quite good, the waiters are friendly. I will want to revisit the cafe again to try out some other food. (seems lot of choices on the menu)

I was meeting up with a friend in Bangsar and she suggested Nutmeg in Bangsar Village II for lunch. Nutmeg is a casual dining restaurant/cafe serving all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner and different local specialities. The menu is simple but with enough delectable variety such as: brioche French toast, salt beef hash, Spanish frittata, or sandwiches and bagels. I decided to try their Southern Fried Breakfast (RM26), which comes with two eggs, a piece of Southern fried chicken, biscuit, gravy, hashed potatoes and a side salad. A hearty, satisfying breakfast! For dessert, we ordered the OMG! chocolate fudge cake. The cake is huge and if they served it with vanilla ice cream, you will love it. The cake is not too sweet, which make is perfect. Verdict: A great place with genuinely friendly staff who are able to recommend you good meals.

Dash is the kiosk extension of Nutmeg. I am a raving fan of Nutmeg, and Dash does it justice! It offers seating options, but the idea is to order take-away. The service is just as good as it is in Nutmeg, and the menu is just great! I am addicted to the quinoa salad, an the banana french toast is to die for! I strongly recommend you stop by Dash when strolling around Bangsar Village!
